For the last couple of years I've been writing in a little notebook each time I read a book, recording first impressions and reflections. I view reading books as a sort of on-going adventure or exploration of other worlds, and I wanted to record my thoughts as I explored those worlds. Now I've decided to turn the journal into a blog, because I think thoughts on books should be shared. The transcriptions are pretty much word for word as I wanted to keep my original first impressions intact, not look back on the books retrospectively.
I hope my thoughts are vaguely interesting to someone.
